Project Schedule: 4 months starting November 2021

Project Description:

Nexus 5 Group was excited to partner with TACK Architects to complete the new corporate headquarters for Replica. Replica provides data for public agencies and their private-sector partners to help them understand the ever-changing complexity of urban ecosystems. With their continued growth over the last few years, they were eager to expand and move their corporate headquarters from Overland Park to a brand-new building in Leawood.

This first-generation tenant improvement project encompassed the entire second floor of a multi-tenant building. The scope covered over 11,000 sq ft which included two new restrooms. Other scopes included new casework, polished concrete, doors and hardware, flooring, painting, acoustical ceilings, fire sprinkler, HVAC, and an upgraded electrical package. Replica also had some exciting details which included two interior garage doors, colored acrylic panels, and OSB wall details. The bright colors and the finish design bring everything together for a fun and inviting space.

The project took four months to complete with the exception to a few items that had longer lead times. Here is what project manager Brian Weber had to say about the project…

“There are always going to be easy projects, and also more challenging ones. This was a little of both. Working with Chuck from the beginning, I knew it would be a good project, and after getting to know Nick, it made it even easier. The talk of “unprecedented times” involving construction and supply chain issues is no longer relevant. Unfortunately, we are now well into it being “precedented times”. Nick fully understood the difficulties and was very patient; all the while we knew we needed to get him and his team into an operable space by the deadline. We got him in, even with a few outstanding items yet to be completed as lead times continued to get extended. Working with Nick, Chuck, the team at TACK, and Josh, the project ran smoothly even with the challenges. I think the space looks great!” - Brian Weber, Project Manager Nexus 5 Group
“Nexus did a great job with our new building. We are happy to be in our new building with a lot more space and we were able to host an All Employee Meeting at our new location on the first of March. It was great to show off our new office!” - Jenny Carroll, Replica
