A modern airplane hangar is brilliantly illuminated against the night sky, showcasing its sleek architectural design and well-maintained surroundings.

Nexus 5 Group is proud to announce the completion of a new construction project at the New Century Air Center in New Century, Kansas. The team successfully delivered the Team Aero Hangar, a 14,000-square-foot facility built from the ground up. The hangar itself features a clear span design, allowing for maximum, unobstructed use of the interior bay. Access is provided by impressive 28-foot-tall bay doors that fully open into a pocket, allowing planes to use every single inch of the opening. This aviation space also features a full heated floor system, consisting of about 6 miles of piping, throughout the expansive hangar bay. The facility is rounded out by an attached office component finished with modern office space materials.

This project was guided by a leadership team that ensured its success from the first groundbreaking to the final walkthrough. Brian Weber oversaw all phases of the construction as the Project Manager. Project Engineer Jessica Bell provided technical oversight and coordination, while on-site operations were supervised by General Superintendent Jeff Tuter. Their collective leadership was instrumental in navigating the complexities of the build and delivering this high-quality, modern aviation facility.
