Thomas Hazen

Tom has been in construction for over 45 years. He started his own construction business in 1977 and, over the years, has had the privilege of performing and overseeing a variety of projects. These projects included residential housing, from remodeling to building new homes from the ground up. The largest home he framed was a 20,000-square-foot residence in Los Gatos, California. He also worked on projects for the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and the Parks and Recreation Department. During this time, he obtained his California State Contractor's License.
In 2005, he became a Commercial Construction Superintendent, supervising projects ranging from hospitals and medical clinics to office buildings, parking garages, tenant finishes, school renovations, and large federal buildings. Bringing projects from dreams, plans, and drawings to completion is very fulfilling for him.
He resides in Spring Hill, Kansas, with his wife of 47 years. He has three grown sons, all married, and is blessed with seven grandchildren. When he finds time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, as well as fishing and hunting in God‘s great outdoors.
