Jerry Lindsay joined Nexus 5 Group in May 2018 as a project manager. He came to us with over 40 years of experience in the construction industry dating back to his high school days. He has a beautiful bride, Ronda, of 37 years. They have four grown children, four grandkids with two on the way.
When Jerry is not working, he loves riding motorcycles, playing with his grandkids or working around the house. “Whether building a house, or decorating the house for the season, I love taking a vision, and turning it into a reality.”
Jerry began working in the construction field in high school, but he originally pursued a degree in accounting and finance after college. He worked two years as an accountant, and four as a loan officer specializing in construction and AG finance. “No matter how I tried, my passion for building and creating always landed me right back in contracting.” Jerry has been self-employed the majority of his career specializing in construction, roofing and light commercial electric. He has over 10 years in multi-family.
With Nexus 5 Group, Jerry specializes in multi-family construction.
From large scale roofing, siding, and deck projects, to remodels, Jerry brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience. “The key to business success is relationships, whether it be with customers, or trusted suppliers and subcontractors. I strive to be the Easy Button!”
Jerry admits he prides himself on his sense of urgency, but his priority is customer satisfaction. “Nothing gives me more gratification than a happy customer. Communication, timeliness, and budget compliance are the benchmark of a successful project!” says Jerry. And he has proven that to be true, his clients love him and appreciate his thoroughness and attention to detail with every project.
A Perfect Score!
On a recent survey, a client gave Jerry a 100% rating on a project that consisted of replacing 308 windows and 68 patio doors. This particular project was inside occupied units during COVID, which was completed in approximately 6 weeks. A score of 100% is impressive, but Jerry attributes the success to the communication and professionalism of his team of Nexus 5 Group partners, suppliers, subcontractors, residents, and the property staff!
